 Job responsibilities:

  • Rising to the challenge of tackling all aspects and phases of commercial and criminal litigation;

  • Working collaboratively and effectively with colleagues, co-counsel, and independently;

  • Combining creative thinking with in-depth research and careful analysis to craft legal strategy;

  • Delivering high-quality and timely work product, including memoranda of law, deposition outlines, internal research memoranda, etc.;

  • Putting one’s best foot forward when representing the firm and its clients in hearings and meetings; and

  • Helping cultivate and maintain a productive, inclusive, and inspiring organizational culture for colleagues and clients alike.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong academic credentials from a top college and law school;

  • Two or more years of experience as a litigation-focused attorney;

  • Federal district or appellate clerkship;

  • Admission to New York state bar;

  • Advanced writing skills;

  • Excellent problem-solving ability and aptitude for innovative thinking; and

  • Integrity collegiality, and collaborative team player.
