Public Interest & Pro Bono

We are driven by our values and sense of justice, so an important part of our practice is the representation of vulnerable individuals who cannot afford counsel. We invest our time and efforts in our community through service with organizations including South Asian Youth Action, Hispanic National Bar Association, South Asian Bar Association, and OneAmerica.

Public Interest & Pro Bono Experience:

  • Representing numerous indigent defendants through our Criminal Justice Act service, obtaining favorable results including dismissal of charges and alternative resolutions.

  • Representing a witness who assisted the U.S. Department of Justice in the prosecution and conviction of Somalian pirates.

  • Representing numerous survivors of sexual assault in litigation against a major public university.

  • Advising a senior intelligence official in connection with congressional inquiries.

  • Representing citizens of Connecticut in antitrust class action lawsuit against a major healthcare conglomerate, alleging that its anti-competitive practices adversely affect Connecticut residents, small businesses, and taxpayers.
